Plugin PPMPack is based on sources of PPMd by Dmitry Shkarin (public domain from 1997), also used in 7-ZIP and WinRar for text compression. Also supports HA HSC (PPM order 4 based) method (by Harry Hirvola). Supports packing one file or multiple files to Tar.PPMP, storing 256 chars in CP-1251. Supports tag-based archive header.
Plugin can create solid Tar.PPMP (and Tar.PPMD for old-style format) archive with higher compression. Compression is nice, but speed isn't too high. Use settings dialog in packer menu. Set more memory (up to 1024 Mb) and order (up to 16). Best results are in (XML, HTML, some non-unicode texts).
Plugins also works with classic .ppmd files. |

ABC is a free data compression based on the Burrows-Wheeler transformation. Author is Dr. Juergen Abel. The sorting buffer size is 5 MB. ABC reaches an average compression ratio for the Calgary Corpus of 2.238 bps.
For files larger or equal than 256 KB ABC uses the following stages:
BWT - RLE_EXP - SIF - AC, for files smaller than 256 KB ABC 2 uses a different scheme: BWT - RLE_BIT0 - AWFC - RLE_BIT1 - AC.
Results for text and document packing are so good as PPMd and Rar, speed is faster then PPM* for compression and decompression. |

Hides any kind of file in your images!
There will be no change in file size of
the original picture.
Picture will not distort after hiding the file in it. Your file will seem exactly as the original,
so it's almost impossible to detect hidden data. Your data is
encrypted with a password using Hurricane (128 bit) (for additional protection)
and hidden in the image. The data to be hidden must be
approximately 1/3th of carrier file size, maximum hidden bytes are equal to number of pixels in image. For sample, in image with 325x354 pixels you can hide 115 Kb, without any distorition. |
